PartyPoker on Linux

PartyPoker

PartyPoker is one of the largest and most active poker sites in the world and been around now since 2001. It’s position was further strengthened following the merger in 2011 of PartyGaming and Bwin to form Digital Entertainment.

Thought to be one of the softest sites around due to the large number of new players PartyPoker is a great place to play online poker whether you are a beginner or pro.

Great software and unique social features are sure to keep the site ahead of the pack.

PartyPoker On Linux

PartyPoker offers two options for the Linux poker player. You can use the ‘instant play’ option which uses Java, so no software to download. Just select Instant Play from the Get Started menu and you are good to go after registration.

We think the best option though is to download the full software package. For linux users that means first installing the Windows emulator, Wine which you can download here.

Editor’s Review

PartyPoker remains one of our favorite online poker sites. Great software coupled with the new social features means the site is constantly attracting a new and growing bunch of players at all levels.

We particularly like playing FastForward poker and the frequent deposit bonuses always come in handy.

Although there are no longer any high limit cash games we enjoy the regularly scheduled tournaments and freerolls.

Some of the softest games around and still plenty of fish!
